Sheldon W. Swartz, MA/LMFT, received his MA in Biblical Counseling from Grace
Theological Seminary under Drs. Larry Crabb and Dan Allender in 1984
and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. As an ordained minister and a
member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, he has over 23
years counseling experience. Sheldon works with marriage and parenting
issues, depression, addictions (especially sexual addiction), adults dealing
with the effects of childhood trauma and abuse, anxiety, grief and loss, and
issues of spirituality in all stages of life.
Sheldon received training in spiritual direction at the Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary in
Elkhart, Indiana and training in coaching from The Institute for Life Coach Training.
Sheldon especially enjoys working with the mystery of life, and how God uses those difficulties we
encounter to clarify our deepest needs and desires and to invite us to walk a journey through
suffering into joy and purpose.
Who We Are
Tina Stoltzfus Horst, MS, CLC, is a certified leadership coach (CLC) and coach
trainer with Lifeforming Leadership Coaching (formerly TLC) and has a master's
degree in Counseling and Human Services. She has 17 years of staff and lay
ministry experience. Tina is a member of the Northern Indiana Professional
Coaches Organization.
Tina coaches clients in the areas of gifts and values discernment, life focus, life balance, stress
management, leadership, and relationships. She is trained in using the Myers-Briggs Type
Indicator. Tina is available for seminars in introductory coach training, peer coach training,
motivational gifts, Myers Briggs for teams, personal goalsetting, or for group coaching for your
church, ministry, or leadership teams.
